Environment, Resources & Responsibility

The continuous development of our corporate processes is a challenge and an opportunity at the same time. We want to take economic, environmental and social responsibility into account in our decisions. This includes fair working conditions, protecting the environment and using resources responsibly. We continuously work to embed, further develop and implement corresponding processes and measures throughout the company—with people, the environment and future generations in mind.

What we do to protect the environment and conserve resources

• work regionally and always give preference to awarding external contracts in the region.
• use only green electricity, as we have since January 1, 2023.
• perform our water purification with ozone and UV to reduce the use of biocides and hazardous substances.
• reintegrate our own cullet into the production cycle to avoid waste and save energy.
• source our main raw material "quartz sand" from Germany, thus avoiding long transport routes.
• change our finishing processes from ceramic to organic and digital.

We are social:

• With the values of a family business, we have regulated our working conditions fairly and are committed regionally.
• We tailor the organization of working hours to the respective needs of the different employee groups.
• We offer a performance-oriented and motivating salary structure and a company pension plan.
• We offer all trainees a guaranteed job transfer after completion of their training.
• A firmly established safety concept to protect our employees is regularly revised and updated.
• We support the sporting activities of our employees, for example, through financially subsidized bike leasing.
• We are involved regionally with donations in cash and in kind for schools, sports clubs, etc.
• We support educational initiatives by participating in career fairs, offering internships and holding information events and company tours for school classes at the company.
